A
  1. STRATEGIC LEVEL IS THE HIGHEST LEVEL AND IS COMPOSED OF TWO TYPES: NATIONAL AND MILITARY STRATEGY.
  2. THE TACTICAL LEVEL IS THE LOWEST LEVEL OF WAR. IT IS THE SPECIFIC APPLICATION OF COMBAT POWER TO DEFEAT AN ENEMY FORCE IN COMBAT AT A PARTICULAR TIME AND PLACE.
  3. THE OPERATIONAL LEVEL IS THE LEVEL THAT LINKS THE TACTICAL LEVEL TO THE STRATEGIC LEVEL BY GUIDING TACTICAL RESULTS TO ATTAIN STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.
