A

1) The proportion of infantry in the army fell from 65% in 1914 to just 25% in 2015!
2) The effective battlefield role of cavalry came to a close in 1918, and it’s uses have been replaced by tanks!
3) Bombardments are shared between different types of units, so the proportion of artillerymen fell from 20% in 1914 to 10% in 2015.
4) 55% of Britain’s army are now specialised troops.
