drowsiness, dizziness, problems with thinking or memory;
tired feeling, muscle weakness, loss of balance or coordination;
slurred speech, drooling or dry mouth, sore gums;
runny or stuffy nose;
loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, constipation;
blurred vision;
headache.
Side Effects (serious, 12)
Anemia
Blood disorder
cannot empty bladder, cannot focus thoughts
depression
falling
giant hives
hallucination
having thoughts of suicide
itching,
loss of memory,
liver problems
rash
Considerations (Shouldn’t take if)
You shouldn’t take this drug if you have severe liver disease or narrow-angle glaucoma.
Considerations (fetus, newborn)
May cause harm to an unborn baby or may cause breathing and feeding problems in newborns.
Considerations (May last longer in adults)
Sedative effects may last longer in older adults.
Considerations (Never share)
Never share with another person, especially with someone with a history of drug abuse.
Considerations (dosage, adults)
Dosage for adults with seizure disorder should not exceed 1.5 mg/day divided into 3 doses.
Considerations (Dosage, children)
Dosage for children should not exceed 0.5 mg/day.
