Stage I
IA: Tumor size ≤2cm and stromal invasion ≤1mm
IB: Tumor size >2cm or stromal invasion >1mm
Vulvar cancer depth of invasion definition
From the basement membrane of the deepest, adjacent, dysplastic, tumor free rete-ridge to the deepest point of invasion
Stage II
Tumor of any size with extension to the lower 1/3 of the urethra, vagina, or anus with negative nodes
Stage III
IIIA: Tumor of any size with disease extension to the upper 2/3 of the urethra, upper 2/3 of vagina, bladder mucosa, rectal mucosa, or regional lymph node mets ≤5mm
IIIB: Regional LN mets >5mm
IIIC: Regional LN mets with extra-capsular spread
Stage IV
IVA: disease fixed to the pelvic bone, or fixed or ulcerated regional LN mets
IVB: distant mets
