Stage IA
IA1: stromal invasion ≤3mm in depth
IA2: stromal invasion >3mm and ≤5mm in depth
Stage IB
IB1: >5mm depth and ≤2cm greatest dimension
IB2: >2cm and ≤ 4cm dimension
IB3: >4cm in dimension
Stage II
IIA: involvement limited to the upper 2/3 of the vagina without parametrial invasion
IIA1: invasive carcinoma ≤4cm
IIA2: invasive carcinoma > 4cm
IIB: with parametrial invasion, but not up to the pelvic wall
Stage IIIA
Involves lower 1/3 of the vagina, with no extension to the pelvic wall
Stage IIIB
Extension to the pelvic wall and/or hydronephrosis or non functioning kidney
Stage IIIC
IIIC1: Pelvic LN mets only
IIIC2: Para aortic lymph node mets
Stage IV
IVA: spread to adjacent organs
IVB: spread to distant organs
