IT assets zijn beschikbaar voor iedereen dus de gedachte dat jij er een ocmpetitive advantage uit kan halen is overschat. Je moet wachten tot andere het risico hebben genomen voor een technologie en als die zich bewezen heeft er pas voor kiezen.
Wat is het Five Forces model van Porter?
Een analyse framework om te bekijken hoe competatief een organisatie is. Het model bestaat uit:
- Threat of subsitute: hoe snel het vervangen kan worden.
- Bargaining power of suppliers: bij meerdere opties een lagere prijs kiezen bij leverancier.
- Bargaining power of customers: door het internet heeft de klant veel meer keuze en kan hij de prijs controleren.
- Barriers to entry: dat het door het internet makkelijker is om een industrie te komen maar moeilijker is winst te maken.
- Rivalry among competitiors: door het internet hogere competition en lagere prijzen.
Bij de implementatie fase zijn er 4 soorten welke?
- Parallel, gelijktijdig beide systemen
- Direct, nieuwe vervangt de oude
- Phased, stapsgewijs overstappen
- Pilot, eerst een demo die gelijk draait daarna overstap
