useful data, typically in organizational settings.

An application that becomes so essential that large numbers of people buy a device just to run that application.
What is an ERP?
was developed to bring together an entire
organisation in one software application and is therefore a software application that
utilizes a central database (all users can edit and save information) that is
implemented throughout the entire organisation. (e.g. SAP, Microsoft)
What is a relational database?
is one in which data is organized into one or more tables (e.g.
MySQL and Oracle). SQL is a language that can be used to work with a relational database.

is a special form of database that takes data from other databases in
an enterprise and organizes it for analysis.

Is a software application that is used to
create and manage databases.

Normalised database with one or more tables. Each table has fields and filled with records.
