What happens when the ball hits the net on a serve and goes over?
It’s still in play
What happens when the ball hits the net and doesn’t go over on a serve
The opposing team receives a point and gets the ball.
What must the server do until the ball is contacted on the serve?
Stay behind the line
What must the server do before each serve, how must they do it?
Say the score
Theirs then the other team’s
What is a game played to?
25 points, and the team must win by 2 points.
What happens when a team wins the serve back?
The rotate clockwise.
What happens every serve?
A point is scored
What must the back row do?
They have to bump the ball on the serve
If the ball lands on the line is it in or out

What happens when the ball hits the ceiling?
It’s out
How many times can a player hit the ball?
A player hits the ball once, then another player must hit it before the same player can hit it again.
How many time can a team hit the ball before it has to go over the net

After a point is scored, what happens to the ball?
You have to roll it under the net to the other team.
What two thing are you not allowed to do?
Dive or spike for/the ball.
What can’t a player do?
Carry or hold the ball
What can and can’t the ball hit to be playable
The ball can hit the net on a bump and serve and still be playable, but the ball can’t hit any part of a player’s body beside their hands or forearms.
What can’t a player touch during play?
Touch the net or go under the net.
Where do all serves take place?
The right hand corner of the court.
What shouldn’t you do, and instead do what?
You shouldn’t catch the ball, let the ball hit the floor before you pick it up.
What is a carry, bump and set?
Carry- an underhand, openhanded hit.
Bump- an underhand hit used to hit a ball that is below your head.
Set- used to hit a ball that is above your head.
