Warm up
A general preparation, gentle and progressive, which should have positive effect on all the muscle group, joints, ligaments and bodily organs.

to make better use of the power by this system. To improve blood circulation to the muscle and increase their internal temperature, and so reduce risk of injury. To stimulate the nervous system governing movements and work cycles to give a better response.

Execution of Warm up
- 10 mins easy running
- gentle stretching of muscles groups of legs, hips, trunks, and shoulder
- the muscle most closely involved in the events should be stretched and exercise.
Volleyball
- a sport played by two teams on a playing court divided by a net.
- the object of the game is to send the ball over the net in order to ground it on the opponent’s court, and to prevent the same effort by the opponent.
History of VB
VB was invented by William Morgan in 1895 at Holyoke, Massachusetts, YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association), originally called as Mintonette.
Court
- Indoor and Outdoor: 18m by 9m
- Indoor courts also include an attack area designated by a line 3 m back from the center line.
Center Line
marked at the center of the court dividing it equally into 9 meters squares.
Attack Line
marked 3 meters on each side of the center line of the court.
Service Line
marked 9 meter at the end line. This is the area from which the serve may serve the volleyball.
