Italian accent

A
  • Enlongate double constants
  • H-dropping from the beginning of words
  • Pronouncing ‘th’ as ‘T’ or ‘d’
  • adding vowel sounds to the ends of words especially those ending in consonants as Italian words often end in vowels ~ add ‘uh’ or ‘eh’ sound to word ending with silent ‘e’ or consonant

A

Cockney/Estuary Accent

Glottal stops - a consonant sound produced by closing the space between the vocal cords, to obstruct airflow in the vocal tract

H dropping

Flattened vowels

Th-fronting - replacing the ’th’ sound with a ‘f’ or ‘v’ ~ biting the lower lip which makes the “th” sound merge with “f” and “v”.
