Italian accent
- Enlongate double constants
- H-dropping from the beginning of words
- Pronouncing ‘th’ as ‘T’ or ‘d’
- adding vowel sounds to the ends of words especially those ending in consonants as Italian words often end in vowels ~ add ‘uh’ or ‘eh’ sound to word ending with silent ‘e’ or consonant
Northern/ Geordie/ Scottish
- Short ah vowel - Bath/TRAP split
- Close u - STRUT/Foot split
- Scottish rhotic - sounds out the r’s
West Country
Rhotic - the /r/ sound is pronounced in all positions, including at the end of words and after vowels

T-glottalisation - the “t” sound is often dropped or replaced with a glottal stop

Glottal stops - a consonant sound produced by closing the space between the vocal cords, to obstruct airflow in the vocal tract

Th-fronting - replacing the ’th’ sound with a ‘f’ or ‘v’ ~ biting the lower lip which makes the “th” sound merge with “f” and “v”.
