“In memory of”. Often found on grave markers or other symbols of death.
In memoriam
“I don’t know.” The standard answer given by French 101 high school students to answer any question asked by their teacher. For that matter, the standard answer given by any students to any question asked by any teacher.
Je ne sais pas
Nude; naked. It’s sometimes used in cooking to mean without any sort of garnish, but it’s a lot more fun to use it with other meaning.
Au naturel
In Hinduism, a word or group of words that is chanted in an effort to create a spiritual transformation. In English usage, it means an overriding theme or idea that’s expressed over and over again, usually until everyone within earshot is sick and tired of it.
Mantra
Literally, “hand to hand”. More generally, man to man. One on one. There’s a degree of machismo implied in this concept, that two big sweaty, and possibly somewhat stupid men will stand face to face and slug out some dispute.

“I am to blame”. It’s my fault.
Mea Culpa
A collection of images, place together. In film, these images are shown quickly, one after the other. Musical elements and special effects may also contribute to the sense of energy and change that such filming brings.
Montage
A negative fate, the outcome of overweening pride. Anyone, the ancient Greeks believed, who tried to rise above what the gods had decreed for them would be brought down by the gods.
