General Contractor
a specialty contractor who is awarded a portion of an existing contract by
a general contractor and performs the work under a contract with the
general contractor.
Subcontractor
A written document which modifies the plans and specifications and/or
the price of the construction project.
Change Order
a formal process to clarify a discrepancy or lack of
detail within construction documents that usually does not result in a
change of schedule or price in a project.
Request For Information (RFI)
A document that is issued by a buyer (contractor) to a seller (vendor),
indicating their intention to purchase certain products or services.
