They can do simple tasks like getting, ice or popsicles etc.

Check to see if the goals have been met. Check to see if diagnosis has been resolved.
WHAT IS THE NURSING DIAGNOSIS FOR SLEEP APNEA?
Impaired gas exchange
WHAT ARE SHORT TERM GOALS IN REGARDS TO THE NURSING PROCESS?
A goal within a short period of time. Like the next few hours
WHAT IS PART OF THE ASSESSMENT?
In addition to objective data you’re also considering the setting you’re in to determine risk factors.
EX: a patient at a college campus clinic.
WHAT CAN ASSISTIVE PERSONELL (CNA) DO & NOT DO?
Can: reapply catheter condom, bathing & cleaning, beside care unless its complicated.
Can’t: reinforce teaching, dressing changes, can’t take care of complicated clients ( health wise) EX: monitor clients vitals who is experiencing complicated health symptoms
CLIENT HAS ACUTE DIARRHEA WHAT IS THE PRIORITY VN IS GOING TO DO WHEN LEAVING THE ROOM?
Hand hygiene.
