Climate
The climate of a region determines what types of grapes can be grown, if any.
Affected by:
* Latitude (mostly between 30-50 degrees)
* Macro/Meso/Micro climates
* Type: Continental (Cool), Maritime (Moderate), Mediterranean (Warm), High Desert (Hot)
* Diurnal Shifts
* Sunshine Hours
* Threats (Frost/Freeze, Hail, Wind)
* Moderators (Bodies of water, Mountains, Altitude/Elevation, Wind
At what latitude does most vine growing occur?
30 - 50 degrees in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres
(It is possible to grow grapes outside these regions)
