Vitamin D: Function
Sterol based vitamin
- Regulates Calcium and Phosphate usage in the body (bone health)
- Supports healthy immunity through bone health (B-cell activation)
Vitamin E: Function
Alpha-tocopherol is the most active form. Works best with vitamin c, flavonoids and CoQ10
- Reduce oxidation of lipid cell membranes of the body (antioxidant)
- Produces skin, eyes, breast, testes

Produced in the body
- Coagulates blood
Vitamin C: Function
Ascorbic acid. High amounts may cause diarrhea and can be easily destroyed
- Helps maintain collagen, the basis for all connective tissue. Needed to give support and shape to the body
- Helps convert tryptophan to serotonin
- Helps convert folic acid and tyrosine to neurotransmitters dopamine and epinephrine
- Acts as an antioxidant and protects damage to vit A, E
- stimulates neutrophils (immunity)
- Anti-inflammatory & anti-histamine
Vitamin B1: Function
Thiamine
- Helps glucose metabolism (energy)
- supports nervous system by helping produce neurotransmitters and creates myelin sheath
Vitamin B2: Function
Riboflavin
- Co-enzyme for energy production (ATP)
- assists in all cellular respiration and necessary for cell growth
- helps vision, healthy skin, nails and hair
Vitamin B3: Function
Niacin. Discovered through oxidation of nicotine
- Co-enzyme for more than 50 functions
- Glycolysis, fatty acid synthesis, formation of red blood cells, steroid
Vitamin B5: Function
Pantothenic acid. usually found as a calcium or sodium salt
- co-enzyme for adrenal cortex (anti-stress vitamin) supports adrenal gland production of cortisone and other stress hormones
- Supports cellular metabolism of carbohydrates and fats
Vitamin B6: Function
Pyridoxine
- essential for various metabolic functions especially amino acids
- Facilitates glycogen release from muscles and liver
- supports antibody and RBC formation
- Supports sulphur detoxification process
- supports female sex hormones estrogen
