1) Menaquinone (Animal) and Phylloquinon (plants) are ingested, as they pass to the SI bile is released
2) 80% of Vit K is absorbed in the SI (Jejunum)
3) 100% is packed into Chylomicrons and transported to the liver
4) from the liver it is incorporated into VLDL

In the Liver mostly, some in Heart, Lungs and Kidneys

what are the symptoms of Vitamin K deficiency
increased bleeding, osteoporosis, can be fatal
