A
the adult and the larvae live in the soil and eat the roots

when do vine weevils attack and what is the indication?
A
the eat the roots during the winter months, and the first indications are; slow or lack of growth, and wilting plants due to insufficient roots

what plants are susceptible and why?
A
Cyclamen and Begonia tubers - the grubs bore into them.
Euonymus and Rhododendron - the adult beetle emerges at night and eats sections of the leaves.

how do you control vine weevils?
A
apply the parasitic nematode (eelworm)
or apply a drench of Thiacloprid to roots
