how does the fungus attack?
A
It produces a toxin that causes the upper leaf surfaces to separate from the main leaf blade.
Air trapped between the two surfaces alter the light-reflecting qualities of the leaves giving a silvered appearance.
the disease slowly kills a limb off completely affecting fruiting and kills the tree

there are no controls, so the infected tree must be removed and burnt
