Clinical features of large acoustic neuroma?

A

Persistent headaches
Temporary blurred or double vision
Numbeness, pain, weakness of 1 side of face
Problems with limb coordination on 1 side of body

Who to investigate?

A

Investigate anyone with asymmetric sensorineural hearing loss
or sudden sensorineural hearing loss

Management?

A

Monitoring (small tumours)
Surgical removal (if large or getting bigger)
