Lie subject flat, knees flexed to relax abdomen. Press into abdomen left of midline at epigastric/umbilical region. Ask to breath in if necessary.

Femoral artery (optional)

Answer 2

Press deeply into inguinal region, midway between ASIS and pubic symphysis.
