Supplies the stomach, spleen, liver, gallbladder and part of the pancreas. Dermatomes T5-9

Question 2

The superior mesenteric artery supplies which organs and is associated to which dermatomal levels?

Answer 2

Part of the pancreas, small intestine, caecum, appendix, ascending colon. Dermatomes T10-11

Question 3

The inferior mesenteric artery supplies which organs is associated to which dermatomal levels?

Answer 3

Transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid, part of the rectum. Dermatomes T12-L2

Question 4

Describe the arrangement of thoracic dermatomes T8, 10, 12 (this is lifted from wiki so use caution, dermatomes vary from person to person also)

Answer 4

T8: MCL and halfway between xiphoid and umbilicus
T10: MCL at level of umbilicus
T12: MCL at level of midpoint of inguinal ligament.
