Q

T1-T12

A
  • Transverse costal facets: smooth articulating surfaces on the transverse processes for articulation with the tubercle of a rib
  • Costal facets: small indentations on the lateral aspect of the vertebral bodies for articulation with the head of a rib. Most thoracic vertebrae have two costal facets, one superior and one inferior costal facet.
