A
  • 80,000 artillery shells.
  • Flamethrowers trapped many French in bunkers and incinerated them alive.
  • Trucks were the only connec. between the war &civil.
  • Aerolanes advanced for superior tech(both sides)
  • Sandbags+machine guns

  • Fought bravely
  • Burned alive- had never seen FT b4.
  • Deaf because of the gunshots.
  • Didn’t want to be killed but just dead.
