What are non-finite verbs?
They are verbs that do not have tenses.

What is the infinitive?
It is a verb that comes after the word ‘to’. It does not change with the subject or person.
What are examples of the infinitive verb?
She likes to run.
He had decided to run away from home.
What are finite verbs?
Finite verbs are verbs with tenses i.e they have a past, a present and a future form.
What are examples of participles?
I had been having ice cream.
She had been running.
What are participles?
They usually end in ‘ed’ or ‘ing’. They are always accompanied by an auxiliary verb.
What are examples of auxiliary verbs?
Be Have Do Can Could Will Would Shall Should May Might Must
What are auxiliary verbs?
Auxiliary verbs are helping verbs.
