body is erect and facing forwards with arms at the sides and palms facing forwards

a “line” that goes directly down your body VERTICALLY
describe Parasagittal Plane
a “line” that goes directly down vertically but is besides your body
describe Frontal Plane
this goes vertically down your body but splits it from front and back
describe Transverse Plane (horizontal plane)
this divides the body from top and bottom
what is your axial parts?
it is your head, neck and body
what is your appendicular parts?
your arms and legs ( these are attached to the body axes )
what is anterior?
It is the front of the body
what is posterior?
it is the back of your body
what is superior?
it is towards the top of your body
what is inferior?
it is towards the bottom of the body
what is lateral?
structures farther away from the midline
what is medial?
structures towards the midline
