What is Colli di Conegliano?
DOCG just west of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco for the production of Bianco, Rosso and Bianco Passito wines.
Styles Refrontolo (Rosso) and Torchiato di Fregona (Bianco Passito) are of particular note
What is Piave Malanotte?
AKA Malanotte del Piave
DOCG based on the autochthonous Raboso grape and its sub varieties. Eastern Veneto, close to the Friuli border
Describe Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco:
Eastern of the Prosecco DOCGs
Available in Tranquilo, Spumante and Frizzante from a min 85% Glera. Also available in Superiore and can mention ‘Rive’ from one of 43 crus.
Subzone Cartizze is considered the best
Frizzante bay me be 2nd fermented in bottle, but must be labelled ‘rifermentazione in bottiglia’
Describe Lison:
DOCG in eastern Veneto and crossing over into Friuli.
Based on varietal Tai (Friulano) and has a Classico subzone

Sub-zone / sub-style of Colli di Conegliano DOCG producing rosso wine from Marzemino
Describe Bardolino Superiore
DOCG similar to Amarone, but less restrictive. i.e. doesn’t require as much Corvina and has a max RS of 6g/L.
On the shores of Lake Garda and includes a Classico subzone
Describe Colli Euganei Fior d’Arancio
DOCG based on a minimum 95% Moscato Giallo and available in tranquilo, spumante and passito styles.
What is Bagnoli Friularo?
AKA Friularo di Bagnoli
Friularo is a synonym for the Raboso grape. This is a tiny DOCG for production in southeastern Veneto. Available in sweet styles also (VT, Passito) and contains a Classico subzone
Describe Colli Asolani:
Western of the Prosecco DOCGs
Available in Tranquilo, Spumante and Frizzante from a min 85% Glera. Also Superiore with 12% versus 11.5% ABV
Frizzante bay me be 2nd fermented in bottle, but must be labelled ‘rifermentazione in bottiglia’
What is Montello?
AKA Montello Rosso
Questionable and tiny DOCG based on Bordeaux varietals in the Asolo area
