Portion of the main arteries that bends as it leaves the heart. Largest artery in the body.
Aortic Arch
Carries deoxygenated blood from the lower body to the heart.
Posterior Vena Cava
Third branching external jugular at the upper end of the larynx that crosses the neck ventrally.
Transverse Jugular
Formed by the union of two large veins.
Hepatic Portal
Carries blood filtered by kidney. Drains blood from the kidney.
Renal
Returns deoxygenated blood from the arms and neck back to the heart.
Brachiocephalic
Extends from the external iliac and branches off into other veins. Located in the thigh.
Femoral
larger of the two throat veins that drains the head and neck
External Jugular
branch of the brachiocephalic artery that lies on the left side of the trachea
Left Common Carotid
on the right side of the armpit and shoulder region that branches from the right subclavian artery
Axillary
