A

A

motor cars
motor cycles
small goods vehicles
trailers including caravans
(vehicles that can be MOT tested at a regular testing centre)

A

VDRS not appropriate if,
3 or more reportable defects on the vehicle
2 or more identical defects
1 obvious disregard for the general condition or
1 foreign vehicle

VDRS process?

A

provisionally report for summons, offer VDRS, if they accept explain:
get defect fixed
have an examination done at an MOT centre
have the MOT centre stamp the form
then send this to the central ticketing office
