round red or purple macule. it is secondary to blood extravasion and associated with bleeding tendencies or emboli to skin.
petechia
round or irregular macular lesion that is lsrger than petechial lesion. black, yellow and green hues.
ecchymosis
it is secondary to blood extravasion with trauma and bleeding tendencies.

a localized collection of blood creating an elevated ecchymosis. it is associated with trauma.
hematoma
papular or round, red and purple lesion found on the trunk or extremities. it may blanch with pressure, it is a normal age-relates skin alteration and usually not clinically significant.
cherry angiomas
red arteriole lesion with a central body with radiating branches. usually noted on the fsce , neck, arms and trunk.
spider angiomas
bluish or red lesion with varying shape. it does not blanch when pressure is applied.
telangiectasis
it is secondary to superficial dilation of venous vessels and capillaries and associated with increased venous pressure states

petechiae, ecchymosis, hematoma telangiectasis, cherry angiomas, spider angiomas
associated with bleeding, aging, circulatory conditions, diabetes, pregnancy, and hepatic disease among other problems.
vascular skin lesions
it is associated with liver disease, pregnancy and Vitamin B deficiency
spider angiomas
birthmark in which swollen blood vessels create a reddish-purplish discoloration of the skin.
port wine stain
a common type of birthmark that are usually red or purple. They are sometimes called strawberry naevus because of their bright, red strawberry colour.
strawberry mark / hemangioma
happens when capillaries – small blood vessels that connect arteries and veins – swell and form a noncancerous mass called an angioma. These masses often occur in multiples in your brain, and almost always on one side only.
cavernous hemangioma
