Conjoint
Radial
CONJOINT
Xylem and phloem are present in the same bundle
mostly found in shoot system
CONJOINT COLLATERAL
XY AND PH present in same radius

CONJOINT COLLATERAL OPEN
Between the xy and ph there is a strip of cambium which inhibits secondary growth
CONJOINT COLLATERAL CLOSED
No cambium between xy and ph
seen in monocot angio
with exception of a few sp
CONJOINT BICOLLATERAL
Always ‘Open’
Xy and ph present together in the same radius
But phloem and cambium are present in 2 patches within same bundle
Outer phloem, outer cambium, xylem, inner cambium, inner phloem.
RADIAL
Xylem and phloem form seperate bundles

found in root systems of plants
