  • Scars
  • Peripheral Pallor
  • Peripheral Cyanosis
  • Gangrene
  • Venous Ulcers - Large ,Shallow Ulcers with irregular borders. Typically over medial mallelous
  • Arteria Ulcers - Small, Deep Ulcers with well-defined borders. Commonly occur at the most distal part of a limb
  • Xanthomata
  • Hair Loss
  • Muscle Wasting
  • Paralysis

“Describe Buerger’s Test?”

A
  • With patient supine, raise both feet to 45o (hold for 1-2mins)
  • Hang feet off the end - looking for reactive hyperemia
  • If Buerger’s Angle <20o = Severe Limb Ischaemia.
