“ARM” (PUSH) means

Vital Items Closed Loop

- fire and smoke protection equipment
- guarded switches and safety handles

PNF executes and report
PF checks and confirms
PF : 150 kts flaps 15°
PNF : executes and reports : “flaps 15°”
PF checks and confirms “CHECKED”
Simplified Closed Loop
PF executes and advises, PNF Checks and confirms
PF selects vertical speed, ROD 1000fpm, checks and advises ; PNF Checks ans confirms “CHECKED”.
Vital Closed Loop
PNF Positions hand on the system control and asks for confirmation
PF checks hand position and confirms
PNF executes action
Deviation observed by PNF
PNF : “Check” … (Speed, Bank Angle, Alt, Heading, Vertical Speed, Course, Power, Loc, Glide Slope)
PF : “Correcting”… (item above)
