Variation inherited from your parents like eye color, lobeless ears etc.

Variaition caused by your surroundings and what happens to you.

Characteristics that can result in only certain categories

What are continued variations?
Characteristics that can take any value within a range.
Eg: height

A characteristic that enables an animal to survive and be successful.
How are animals like oryxes adapated to a desert?
- Have wide feet to prevent them from sinking in the sand
