A

Socialization - 3-12 weeks for dogs
3-9 weeks for cats
most important developmental time in their entire life - with humans socialization
-when we need to socialize an animal
- they need to play, fight, develop sexual behavior
begin house training - because learning comes easy
- negative experiences can desocialize an animal\
- make all 1st experiences pleasant especially visits to vet. they will remember this forever

  • they will begin to explore the world
