Sarcoidosis
Mutton fat KPs, Koeppe, Busacca
Trabecular meshwork nodules, tent shaped PAS
Vitreous opacities: snowballs, string of pearls
Multiple chorioretinal peripheral lesions, punched-out appearance
Nodular/segmental periphlebitis, candle wax drippings
OD nodules/granulomas
Bilaterality
Conjunctival nodules, lacrimal gland infiltration, dry eye, eye lid skin nodules, orbital and scleral lesions
Toxoplasmosis
Reactivation at previously inactive cyst-containing scars Average age:29 years Unilateral Spill-over anterior uveitis Satellite lesions Vitritis-headlight in the fog Vasculitis OD edema Spontaneous resolution within 6-8weeks 2.7 recurrent attacks per year
Toxoplasmosis-treatment
✅sight threatening lesion involving the macula, papillomacular bundle, optic nerve head, or a major blood vessle ✅severe vitritis ✅immunocompromised Co-trimoxazole,160/800mg,2x1 Clindamycin,300mg,4x1 Prednisolone,1mg/kg-after 24-48 hours
