A

1) Cut shoot underwater to avoid air bubbles
2) Allow apparatus to stabilise for 10 minutes to adapt to new conditions
3) Place potometer and leafy shoot in position
4) Measure the position of the meniscus over a set time period
5) Repeat in different conditions
