hold as long as you can (can remove device but keep holding breath)

if second dose, repeat steps starting at shake

eye ointment: diff instrucs, harder instill, need help more often esp with dexterity issues

wash hands well with soap and water

remove cap and put on side on clean dry tissue

tilt head head slightly back

pull jently down on lower eyelid form pouch

hold bottle almost sideways approach eye from side (so dont poke eye)

look up so dont blink as hard when put drops in eye

hold bottle inch away from eye/eyelashes (prevent contam)

squeeze bottle instill one drop into pouch

can slowly release eyelid and look down so med reach center of eye

clsoe eyes for at least 30 seconds (longer better)
+can apply gentle P to inside corner of eye to prevent drain into tear duct

before open can blot with clean tissue to remove excess med

once open eyes should wash hands with soap and water

same med 3-5
diff med 5-10min
