What were some of the mistakes of the first settlers of Jamestown
They didn’t look for the best land to settle. Instead they chose the land that was a hunting ground for unfriendly Indians. Also, the land soon became swampy, full of mosquitoes, and had bad drinking water. They also spent a lot of their time looking for gold instead of planting gardens.
