  • “Pan, Pan” phrase repeated three times
  • The name of the station being addressed
  • Identification of the aircraft
  • The nature of the urgency condition
  • The intention of the person in command
  • Present position, level and heading
  • Any additional information

How should a radio station reply to an urgency call?

A

They should acknowledge the urgency call and do something about it by contacting ATS and the relative parties to follow urgency.

They should also warn other stations about the urgency to prevent traffic on the frequency used with the urgency call.
