What are the four words that have been removed to prevent ambiguity? And explain.

Answer 1

“SURFACE” = in relation to surface wind direction and speed
“DEGREES” = in relation to radar heading
“VISIBILITY, CLOUDS, HEIGHT” = in met reports
“HECTOPASCALS” = for pressure setting (unless the pressure is below 1000hPa e.g. 998hPa, 999hPa, 1000, 1001 etc.)

What will be said if ATC would like you to do something faster?

“EXPEDIATE”

What will be said if something requires immediate action for safety reasons?

“IMMEDIATELY”

The use of the word “IMMEDIATELY” means what?

It means that whatever has been said needs immediate action, for safety reason

It means that ATC would like you to do something faster
E.g. if you’re not climbing fast enough, they might tell you to “EXPEDIATE”
