What are the different transmitting techniques?

A
  • Before transmitting, listen to the frequency to make sure there is no interference with another station
  • Speak at a normal conversation pace, clearly and distinctly
  • Speak no more than 100 words per minute & if the recipient is writing, speak in a slower pace
  • Avoid hesitation sounds such as “er”
  • Speak at a constant volume level
  • Slight pause before and after saying a number so that the recipient can understand
  • To ensure the transmission of entire message, don’t release the transmit switch until the entire message is completed
