In Kibera Nairobi, shipping ontainer are used as clinics, this allows people to get free access to healthcare. People can get advice on prevention of diseases such as cholera or HIV/AIDS. Sac farming is used to generate more income for farmers, they farm in bags this is used as it takes up little space. Local volunteeres unblock drains and install new sewage pipes, this led to more toilets being used in slums which in turn has reduced the number of “flying toilets”. Communal stoes which are fuelled by biogas allow people to cook and clean for little or no cost.
