A

Steadies scapula and clavicle against gravity - carrying weights
Provides fixation of neck/head - controls head position when leaning forwards e.g. reading and writing
Laterally rotates scapula - above head activity, like reaching
Retracts scapula - putting on a coat, pulling doors open
Depression of scapula against resistance - pushing up with hands from a seat
