-Abduction of the ulna in pronation (it keeps the center of the palm over the same point when the hand is flipped)
-Accessory extensor of the elbow
Origin: Supinator
-Superficial: lateral epicondyle
-Deep: superior crest of ulna
Insertion: Supinator
lateral surface of radius superior to the anterior oblique line
