A

prolapse - nucleus pulposus bulges, annulus fibrosis intact
extrusion - nucleus pulposus breaks thru annulus fibrous but within disc
sequestration - nucleus pulposus breaks thru annuus fibrous, separates from disc, enters spinal canal
