- Unity refers to the quality of wholeness or oneness that is achieved through the effective use of art elements and principles of design.
- Unity also helps the design to be seen as one design instead of randomness all around your design.

- Proximity/closeness- achieved by clustering shapes and limiting negative spaces;
- Continuance- arranging lines
