What is a quantity?
Anything that can be measured
What is a unit?
Used as a standard for measurement of the same kind of quantity that is defined by convention or by law (whatever that means)
What are the 2 types of quantities?
Base or fundamental- cannot be made up of any other quantity( there are 5 of them that correspond with S.I units)
Derived- composed of 1 or more base quantities together or sometimes other derived quantities. (there’s like infinite as Hank said- area, volume, force etc.)

Kilogram (kg)
