What are Bits?
A single binary digit (1 or 0). Bits are the smallest measure of data
What does 1 represent?
1 is used to show that electricity is flowing
What does 0 represent?
0 is used to represent that electricity is not flowing
What is a nibble?
4 bits
What is a byte(B)?
8 bits
What is a kilobyte(KB)?
1000 bytes
What is a megabyte(MB)?
1000 kilobytes
What is a gigabyte(GB)?
1000 megabyte
What is a terabyte(TB)?
1000 gigabytes
What is a Petabyte(PB)?
1000 terabytes
What is a byte used to store?
A byte is big enough to store one character (like x,e,m, £)

Most files like songs, pictures, documents
What are GBs used to store?
HD files and complex apps
