Each have their own membership, leadership and budget

Member states pay ‘dues’ based of their GDP, economic circumstances, government debt and more

Maintain world peace
What are the successes of the Security Council?
No wars across the 170 member states, maintained peace in Africa mainly, support nuclear disarmament
What are the weaknesses of the Security Council?
Powerful military stars just ignore it like Soviet Union. Nuclear powers are also still increasing with North Korea becoming most recent one

Aim to eradicate and prevent global hunger and negotiate fairer trade between HICs and LICs
