For some verbs (aka “boot” verbs), which forms are the same as & which forms are different from the infinitive? How are they the same or different, & why?
The “je”, “tu”, “il/elle”, & “ils/elles” forms are different from the infinitive. An accent either appears or, if there already is one, changes. The “nous” & “vous” forms of the verb have the same accent as the infinitive. It has to with how the (non)accented letter is pronounced.
